Abstract

Albenie Leferriere, 49, of Van Buren, charged with having shot and killed Audrey Leferriere, his estranged wife, on December 23, had been convicted 18 years ago of armed kidnapping. He served one year in jail and received a pardon in 1982, allowing him legally to legally purchase weapons.
