Abstract

Austin Kelly of Bangor has spent more than 25 years amassing one of the finest collections of French Foreign Legion insignia in the world. With around 500 pieces, Kelly is just 12 pieces shy of having at least one original insignia from every unit which received one since they were first issued in 1923.
