Abstract
The Christian Civic League of Maine wants the United Way of Greater Portland to rescind a policy banning sexual-orientation bias. The Pine Tree Council of the Boy Scouts, which serves Cumberland and other counties, does not allow gay members or volunteers. The council will lose its status as a funding recipient in July.
