Abstract

The town of Scarborough has renewed its franchise agreement with Public Cable Co. of Portland after 8 months of difficult negotiations. The agreement guarantees 4,400 subscribers expanded channel offerings and improved services through the next century. It was accepted by a 7-0 vote by the town council Wednesday night.
