Abstract

First Coastal Corp., the parent of Coastal Bank, has proposed a plan to federal regulators aimed at paying part of the bailout costs for Suffield Bank, another First Coastal holding. Suffield collapsed in September 1991, and First Coastal must satisfy the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. or risk having Coastal Bank seized. Details.
