Abstract

Cumberland County officials are saying that the new $1.1 million Cumberland County Sheriff's Department building has been part of the plans for the new county jail all along. Municipal representatives believed that leftover money from low construction costs were being used to finance the building, and felt that any savings should go toward lowering the cost of the project.
