Abstract
Members of IRATE (Indigenous Resistance Against Tribal Exctinction) protested against an appearance by Night Walker, who sang songs and told stories as part of Portland Public Library's summer reading program. The protesters say that Night Walker, whose real name is Linda Kota, is of mixed heritage and is undermining the spiritual and cultural ways of American Indians. Details.
