Abstract

Olga Zhondetskaya, 82, who fulfilled her dream of becoming an American citizen on Tuesday, died Friday at Maine Medical Center of lung cancer. Zhondetsakaya emigrated to the U.S. in 1988, and a special bill had to be introduced in Congress to permit her to become a citizen before the required five year residency. Details.
