Abstract

Plans by the Maine State Lottery Commission to remove 20 lottery machines from stores because of poor sales have evoked protests from store owners. The Bureau of Alcoholic Beverages and Lottery Operations says the machines must generate $350 a week in ticket sales or the lottery loses money. Details.
