Abstract

Yarmouth officials are considering a townwide revaluation and they fear that while millions will be cut from the bills of Central Maine Power Company (CMP) , homeowners could see property-tax increases of twenty-five to thirty percent. Under pressure to cut its rates, CMP is forcing the town to reexamine the valuations.
