Abstract

National Response Corp. of Calverton, N.Y., is basing the NRC Resolute in Portland, futher adding to Portland Harbor's fleet of oil-spill response equipment. The NRC Resolute is a 275-foot barge which can hold 2.2 million gallons of oil and is equipped with a crane and two skimmers. Details, list of five oil-spill response companies in Portland and their sixteen vessels.
