Abstract

The Maine State Harness Racing Commission has issued a permit to operate an off-track betting parlor to James Day, owner of Spare-Time Recreation in Lewiston. Maine's first off-track betting parlor, at John Martin's Manor Restaurant in Waterville, opened last Sunday.
