Abstract

State juvenile authorities in Biddeford say they were not informed that Kelly DeWitt was arrested for arson in July, nearly a month before she set the fatal Biddeford fire which claimed the life of 2-year-old Ashley Alvarez of Massachusetts. Police and juvenile officials are reviewing their procedures so they can respond more quickly in serious cases. Details.
