Abstract
Hannaford Bros. Co. first proposed building a $15 million shopping center at the former Gorham Raceway site in 1981, but Gorham Planning Board inaction and opposition from residents has stalled the project ever since. New attitudes and a proposed zoning change may facilitate project approval at last. Details, related article.
