Abstract

The University of Southern Maine, which has normally had a large number of non-traditional, older students, will be offering more Saturday classes, more satellite classes and a new cooperative education program to make it easier for those older students to take courses and complete degrees. The average age of USM students is 30 years, and nearly 1,200 students are between the ages of 41 and 50. Details.
