Abstract

A jury has returned an innocent verdict in the case of Dr. Ira W. Stockwell of Westbrook, who had been accused of violating the civil rights of a former patient. Robert Pineo had alleged that Stockwell refused to provide him with adequate medical treatment when he was an inmate at the Maine Correctional Center in Windham in 1988 and 1989. Details.
