Abstract

Richard W. Skinner, director of the Boating Facilities Division of the Maine Bureau of Parks and Recreation, doesn't think that the proposed Standish town boat ramp on Cargill Lot on Sebago Lake will qualify for state funds because it is not a suitable site for such a purpose. The town of Standish is currently negotiating with the Portland Water District to acquire the use of Cargill Lot, and is hoping that the state will assist in siting a public boat ramp there.
