All four members of Maine's congressional delegation praised President Clinton's plan to streamline the government, although it is still too early to know what impact it will have on the state. The Department of Agriculture has 345 employees in Maine, and 10 percent of them stand to lose their positions under one of the plan's proposals. Details.
