Abstract

The Deering Oaks Master Plan Committee, made up of representatives of Friends of the Park, the Portland Planning Board, the Olmstead Alliance and other groups, will meet for the first time Tuesday to study the city's major park. Crime, especially male prostitution, is just one of the issues the committee will review during the estimated nine months it is to meet before issuing recommendations.
