Abstract

Canada, which previously supplied much of the fish processed by Maine processors, recently banned or dramatically limited cod fishing off most of the Maritime provinces. The move will force Maine processors to find new sources for their produce, increasing competition and forcing some processors to move to where supplies exist. Details, related article.
