Abstract

The state Advisory Commission on Radioactive Waste will respond to a recent federal Department of Energy rule that could send some high-level nuclear waste to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery. Waste currently going going to the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory for storage could be sent to five alternate storage sites, Kittery included. Details.
