Abstract

Brief article reporting that the Ford Foundation and a consortium of community foundations will provide up to $40,000 a year for five years to the Farmington area to find ways of generating new jobs in a sustainable and environmentally-friendly fashion. The effort, to be called the Western Mountain Sustainable Community Project, will be co-chaired by Warren Cook, president of Sugarloaf/USA, and the Reverend Scott Planting.
