Abstract

Ronald Faucher, source protection supervisor for the Portland Water District, has been named Conservationist of the Year by the Maine Department of Environmental Protection for his efforts in protecting the Sebago Lake watershed from contaminants. The watershed, consisting of 361 square miles from Standish to Bethel, serves as the water supply for 171,000 Greater Portland residents. Details.
