Abstract

A 20-foot dead whale found washed ashore on Cushing Island on Monday is believed to be a minke whale, and the New England Aquarium in Boston is expected to send someone to measure and photograph the carcass sometime next week. This is the third time in two weeks that dead marine mammals have been found in Portland Harbor. Details.
