Central Maine Power Co. (CMP) has asked U.S. District judge Morton A. Brady to require F. O'Connor and the Westinghouse Electric Corp. to help finance the cleanup of a hazardous waste site in Augusta. CMP was ordered by federal regulators to clean up the site in 1990, at an estimated cost of $16 million. Details.
