Abstract

Bruce Jordan, the attorney for Pornchai Moontri, admitted that his client fatally stabbed Michael S. McDowell outside a Bangor supermarket in March 1992 but says he should be convicted of manslaughter because he was drunk at the time. Jordan's comments came during the opening day of the murder trial of Moontri, 19, and co-defendant Daniel Williams, 18. Details.
