Abstract

Article about the concern felt in Biddeford because of the number of pre-teens being arrested--and some for particularly disturbing and serious crimes. Biddeford police chief Roger Beaupre plans to ask for permission to assign an officer to handle juvenile court cases, thus lightening the load on the city's lone juvenile crimes officer. Lists and briefly details some of the recent incidents involving youthful offenders.
