Abstract

The Portland Planning Board on Tuesday voted 4-2 to deny a proposal by Pharos House to open a 12-prisoner pre-release center at 904 Washington Avenue. A Pharos House official said the board of directors of that non-profit agency will meet later this week to consider appealing the decision to the Maine Superior Court. Details.
