Abstract

Whale watchers and researchers aboard the whale-watch boat Oceanic out of Portsmouth observed a rare blue whale frolicking in the water about 20 miles east of Portsmouth on Wednesday. There have only been four to six sightings of blue whales in the Gulf of Maine. Details.
