Abstract

Last year, there were 2,015 reported cases of chlamydia, a sexually transmitted disease that is most common in Maine women between the ages of 15 and 19. Because women who contact the disease are engaging in non-protected sex, the state is all set to launch an educational campaign next year aimed at sexually transmitted diseases. The aim is to reach the greatest number of people.
