Abstract
The Bangor and Aroostook Railroad, also known as the Potato Railroad, stretches from Penobscot Bay to the Canadian border. Earlier this year parent-company Amoskeag Co. of Boston announced it would liquidate its holdings, and BAR Acquisition Co. was the winning bidder with a bid of $28.8 million. Details.
