Abstract

U.S. represenative Tom Andrews will host a meeting between Portland's four commercial television stations and representatives of southern Maine's cable systems in an attempt to facilitate the ongoing negotiations between the two sides. Midnight tonight is the deadline for cable companies and commercial television stations to have an agreement negotiated under the 1992 Cable Act. Details, status of talks between stations and various area cable companies.
