Abstract

Former Lewiston Mayor Lillian Caron-O'Brien, a leader of the group Lewiston Citizens Opposed to the Special Treatment of Homosexuals, on Thursday demanded that Lewiston police chief Laurent F. Gilbert Sr. not campaign against repeal of Lewiston's anti-discrimination ordinance on city time. Gilbert attended a news conference recently during which he advocated keeping the ordinance in place.
