Abstract

On November 2, voters in Lewiston will consider a referendum which asks them to either sustain or repeal the city's anti-discrimination ordinance. Both supporters and opponents of the measure agree that the vote could have statewide repercussions because of the conservative, Roman Catholic, working class population of the city. Details.
