Abstract

Nancy Hartlen, 48, sustained serious burns to her feet and legs in an automobile accident in March 1988. Hartlen has since resumed teaching, and has become a spokeswoman and support person for other burn survivors in Maine as head of the Maine chapter of the National Phoenix Society. Details.
