Abstract

Donald L. Hartley, superintendent of Pineland, the state's residential facility for mentally retarded adults, announced his resignation, which will be effective at the end of February. The announcement comes in the wake of public criticism of the NcKernan administration's planned closure of the institution sometime after 1995. Related stories.
