Abstract

John G. Morse, Bath's second-largest property owner after Bath Iron Works, died on October 16 at the age of 74. Morse's heirs now control more than half the commercial property in Bath, and some business people are concerned they will not carry on the traditions of fairness and social responsibility that the elder Morse maintained throughout his business dealings.
