Abstract

Members of Bangor's gay community are looking to voters in Lewiston to uphold that city's anti-discrimination ordinance. Gay rights supporters in Bangor believe a statewide anti-discrimination law in 1995 will remove the need for a local law in Bangor, and see a vote to uphold the law in Lewiston as sustaining the momentum for a statwide law.
