Abstract

Twenty-two members of the Freeport Rescue Department, about half of the rescue volunteers, have signed a petition expressing a lack of confidence in Rescue Chief Deborah Libby. Town Manager Dale Olmstead had previously proposed reorganizing the rescue department to put it under the control of the fire chief, a move which would eliminate Libby's part-time position. Details.
