Abstract

South Portland voters will consider two local referendums during voting next Tuesday, one dealing with public indecency and the other with obscenity. The public indecency ordinance, if passed, will forbid total public nudity and public display of lewd behaviour, while the obscenity question has to do with repealing the obscenity ordinance which was passed on July 7, 1993.
