Abstract

The board of Scott Paper Co., which owns the S. D. Warren mill in Westbrook, will vote on a downsizing plan in two weeks that could result in the closing of three paper machines at the Westbrook facility. The change could lead to hundreds of layoffs among the plant's workforce, which now numbers between 1,400 and 1,500. Details.
