Central Maine Power Co. (CMP) is prepared to lower its price for electricity in order to keep Kennebunk Light and Power District as a customer. Kennebunk Light recently notified state utility regulators that it is seeking cheaper rates from CMP's competitors for the 16,000 kilowatts of power it purchases each month. Details.
