Abstract

Legislative leaders on Saturday denied an appeal by Rep. Ralph Coffman, D-Old Town, and reaffirmed an earlier decision to reject Coffman's proposal to subject lawmakers to drug testing. The Legislative Council voted 9-0 in refusing to clear the measure for consideration by the full Legislature.
