Abstract

Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor is working with Scottish researchers on a gene expression database, designed to facilitate searching of the vast amount of genetic information available and structured to show when genes turn on and off during development. The database will be a storehouse of information with three-dimensional capabilities, and is being developed jointly by geneticists, developmental biologists and computer scientists. Details.
