Abstract

The Cape Elizabeth Town Council has approved an agreement with the federal government under which the Portland Head Light will become the property of the town while the U.S. Coast Guard will continue to operate the light and foghorn. The town has agreed to continue using the facility for educational, historic, cultural and recreational programs open to the public on a non-profit basis. Details.
