Abstract

York County commissioners on Monday voted to uphold Sheriff Michael Bemis' April 7 firing of former York County Jail administrator Raymond Moreau. Bemis fired Moreau when the latter was indicted on charges of sexually molesting two jail inmates. Moreau was recently acquited on one charge, but is still under indictment on the second.
