Abstract

The Worcester Energy Co. and the Worcester Peat Co., formed by Morril Webster, have purchased Down East Peat Co., a peat-to-energy venture. The Down East Peat Co. plant cost $51 million to build in 1988, and is the only one of its kind in North America.
