Abstract

Boothbay Harbor residents have been divided by the rape trial and conviction of Daren L. Graves, 43, a local hero and policeman, who was sentenced on January 1 to serve eight years in prison and was banished from town until the year 2007 for sexually assaulting Shani Orne.
