Abstract
Central Maine Power Co. plans to ask the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for approval of plans to lower the Saco River by 3 feet along a 9-mile stretch upriver from the Springs and Bradbury dams. The move would allow fish to migrate past the dams, and would be less expensive than the projected $2.8 million cost for fish ladders.
