Abstract

A federally-sponsored training program is helping Maine police officers to identify drivers who are operating under the influence of drugs. Training police to recognize drugged, as opposed to drunk drivers is now done in 25 states, and Maine leads the effort in New England. Detailed article. Includes list of drugs and evidence.
